Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

iPads will provide differentiated learning for every student: explicit, focused, and engaging English lessons which give more one-on-one teacher-time to other students.

My students are English Language Learners who attend a school with high expectations and an extended school day and year.

The neighborhood has a high population of families of low socioeconomic status and high drop-out rates. Fortunately, families and students desire academic and social-emotional development with great fervor and show dedication every day.

My Project

Scholars will be able to achieve their English-learning goals with technology that is focused on their specific learning needs and permits the teacher to spend more time with other students, giving them opportunities to practice speaking and listening. iPads are so much better for English-learning than worksheets!

This project is so important because it will improve the academic growth of English language learners and foster their confidence in their ability to help themselves learn!

Scholars will be engaged and thriving in their English development through technology that makes learning fun and provides differentiated skills.
