This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The students at my school are creative, thoughtful, and incredibly kind! They absolutely love hands-on, active, and engaging projects. They come to school every day eager to learn and with a positive attitude.
My kids have chosen to come to our school for a hands-on educational experience.
An educational experience in which their culture and lifestyles will be embraced in the classroom. Each one of my students is unique, but that's what makes our classroom community all that much better.
My Project
My class has been fortunate enough to receive iPads to promote learning through technology in the classroom. Our students come to school twice a week and are split into two groups. My students in Group A come to school on Mondays and Tuesdays and my students in Group B come to school on Thursdays and Fridays. Each iPad is sanitized thoroughly for the next group to use. However, we do not have enough headphones for each student to use. With the rises in Covid cases, I do not feel comfortable having students share headphones with students from other Groups.
Having their own headphones and its connectors will allow my students to learn safely.
Each student will receive a ziplock bag with their name on it which will have their headphones in it. One student also does not have an otter box case which is why I am requesting one case. This will protect the iPad from breaking if it were to fall to the floor. I also am requesting a connector to connect the iPad to the projector in the classroom to display student work. Any donations towards my projects is appreciated!
