Tech Loving First Graders!

My students need technology! We need iPads to use during Reading Small Group Stations, Writing, Math Small Group Stations, to access Google Classroom, and to take AR Quizzes!

My Students

I have a class full of energetic, intelligent, and amazing students. They come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of them receive free lunch. As an adult, can you imagine having to go to work hungry, tired, and unprepared for your day. Many of my students come to school like that everyday. They stay so positive and are so eager to learn! They inspire me to try harder at everything I do every day. No matter the struggle they are here and so am I to learn, have fun, and explore!

My Project

My students have had the opportunity to use iPads that other teachers have shared with us. We love to use them to better our math, reading, and writing skills!

With more technology, I would be able to give all my students the chance to learn at their level.

We need these iPads to be able to get on Google Classroom, lots of different Math Apps, for a listening center, and to show our work and get feedback quickly by using the Seesaw app.

We like to use the Seesaw app to show our work and I can then provide feedback quickly when doing our reading stations!

Google Classroom has been a fun, innovative, engaging way for me to differentiate learning for all of my students. We use Google Classroom to strengthen our reading skills and to learn how to type up final papers that we are working on in Writing.

We also have a listening center that we can't always use because we have to scan QR codes to hear the stories!

We could do so much with these iPads in our classroom! Please help these kids - they deserve it!
