Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with a group of special needs students with a variety of needs. I am hoping to receive this ipad to be able to have an easy way to track data and be able to compile the information quickly. I am also hoping that my students will be able to use this ipad to use different applications to support their specific needs.

This project will allow me to use technology to track student progress and allow students to use a new form of technology during instruction.

This technology would allow me to adapt my teaching in a way that I've never been able to before! My students will be able to use the apple pencil to annotate text on the ipad. This will allow them to have control of what they are annotating. The annotations that they create will be able to be created into a google document that they can use for assignments. They will be able to use applications like clicker on the ipad to build sentences to show comprehension after reading. Students will also be able to access articles that they are reading on the ipad. With the support of applications, the articles that they will need can be read to them. During small group learning, the students will be able to use the apple pencil along with the iPad to practice phonics and math skills using applications.
