Our students need to become leaders in technology. Without the understanding of technology and how it works, how are kids supposed to become innovators of the future?
I work with students on all grade levels; from Pre-K to Fifth grade.
I am blessed to be a part of the growth of early learners with the excitement to learn and then transition into older students becoming individuals by setting goals and working hard to achieve those goals.
My Project
Literature is important in all subject areas; especially technology. The funding of this project will allow our students access to the following books; How Computers Work, The First Computer, From Chalkboards to Computers, Dictionary of Computer and Internet Terms, Technology, and Using Technology. Technology is very much hands-on but what about differentiating to diverse learners? Don't get me wrong; eBooks are great but some students need scaffolding from the familiar to a new way of learning.
Incorporating literature about technology and computers will increase the learning success for all students.
