This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom seeks a new laptop to empower Dual Language Immersion students, many new to tech. With this tool, they'll enhance presentations, develop editing skills, and become tech-savvy, increasing project-based activities and podcast creation to share learning in multiple languages with parents and our community. This laptop will transform our classroom into a technology-rich environment.
This laptop is crucial for our students' development, providing accessible technology to nurture essential digital skills.
It will deepen engagement in projects, presentations, and collaborative activities, while podcast creation enhances communication abilities for sharing learning experiences effectively with a broader audience.
Our project goals:
1. Enhance Classroom Presentations: Create engaging presentations in both native languages and English.
2. Develop Tech Skills: Learn editing techniques and digital literacy.
3. Increase Project-Based Activities: Promote hands-on learning and creativity with tech-driven projects.
4. Podcast Creation: Share educational journeys with the community in multiple languages.
Our students, part of a diverse Dual Language Immersion program, are eager to learn and grow. A dedicated laptop will support their academic growth and empower them to navigate and succeed in our digital world. They deserve this opportunity to become tech-savvy, globally aware individuals.
