This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are special because despite their barriers they have positive attitudes and they work hard. They are intelligent, funny, respectful and they are eager to learn and grow, but are just missing the technology that allows them to access to the internet and apps that would provide learning opportunities. These Apple iPads would allow my students to have the technology necessary to access educational websites and apps.

I am proud of my group of students and teaching them does not feel like a job, it's a privilege.

They make me happy every day, and I do what I can to expose them to things outside their immediate neighborhood so they know there is a bigger world out there and they are part of it.
