Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As an ESE teacher, I am dedicated to supporting students with diverse learning needs through personalized instruction, thoughtful accommodations, and detailed planning. My role involves not only working directly with students but also coordinating services, attending IEP meetings, communicating with families, and collaborating with general education teachers to ensure each student’s success. A reliable laptop is essential for managing all these responsibilities—whether it's participating in virtual meetings, writing legally compliant IEPs, reviewing student data, or creating customized learning materials. Unfortunately, my current device is outdated and no longer meets the demands of these daily tasks. It often freezes, crashes, or runs too slowly during critical moments, making it harder to stay on track.
With a new laptop, I will be able to work more efficiently and remain organized, meet deadlines, and ensure that each student receives the support and services they are entitled to under their IEP.
This tool will directly impact my ability to provide high-quality, timely support and advocate effectively for my students' unique needs. Your support helps make that possible—and for that, I am truly grateful.
