Walk into our third grade co-taught classroom and you will see so many different things. A range of abilities, including special needs, gifted needs and everything in between work together with an amazing team of teachers to create our classroom family.
Our classroom operates on a system of many different activities and projects to meet the varying diverse needs of our kids.
You could easily see different groups of students working with each other or an adult, students on computers, or individual projects at any given time. Our main goal as an educational team is to create a safe, happy environment for all who enter our classroom.
My Project
Having our own small set of laptops at our disposal will make teachable moments more accessible to our students. The school's resources are great, but scheduling can be difficult. The demand for technology resources is much higher than the products our school is able to provide.
Our classroom operates in a flexible and relaxed environment.
Students use resources as needed and although lessons are carefully planned and aligned, we are not afraid to veer off the path in the name of learning! Having our own laptops will allow us to create learning and research opportunities at any time of day without having to schedule a separate computer lab time.
More than half of students from low‑income households
