My students need tablets to work together in collaborative small group activities involving technology as well as in reading, math, STEM based learning, and online assessments.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Lyons's classroom raised $495

My Students
My students are low-income/high poverty students who receive 100% free lunch. The students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences. While my students may face such challenges, they come to school each day excited to learn. My goal is to provide these sweet and deserving kids with opportunities, and to show them that they can truly achieve anything that they set their minds too.
My Project
These materials will benefit my students by engaging them in critical thinking skills within reading, math, and other content areas. Students will also have a technology center as well as an opportunity to participate in read aloud stories that will help them to grow within their fluency skills, fine motor and problem solving skills, research for STEM projects, and other various apps that will engage them within necessary skills needed to succeed. They are able to share growth in their academics when they are engaged and interested in their learning activities. These tablets will also provide daily practice in technology in order to help students make authentic connections both inside and outside of the classroom.
