My Students
The students I serve are hard-working, college-bound students who desire to dig deeper into the various science subjects I teach. These students desire to benefit not only themselves but the community around them and the world in general. More and more I see them desiring to truly be the leaders of the future. I teach two seventh grade classes and three high school classes.
My students truly think outside the box and are intrinsically motivated to learn more.
By supporting this class you will aid in helping to unlock their potential and preparing tomorrow's leaders today. My style of teaching is what I'd call the Mary Poppins method, instead of a spoonful of sugar to get the medicine down, I say a little bit of fun helps the learning get in!
My Project
Help me give my students Alexa Tablets to be used for both digital labs and digital activities in class. I've decided to do this in three parts going for 10 tablets at a time. Please join me! This would be part three. In this part I'm going for 11, 10 to make a total of 30 tablets for the classroom and one additional one for myself to use so as to monitor students' activity on them, but more importantly to be able to model for them how to do an activity or lab.
Tablets are needed in my classroom as we are seeing the need to integrate technology more and more.
Throughout the year I do labs and some of those labs require access to technology, in particular a tablet to access the Internet and use various academic sites to work through various science principles.
