Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students want to succeed!
They are eager to improve their reading and writing skills, and these Chromebooks will allow them to engage with our digital curriculum and digital tools and practice their typing skills daily!
Schools have become enmeshed with digital experiences; however, the community my school serves is not likely to have personal technology devices. Students are now required to take standardized tests on a computer, but many have limited experience typing on a keyboard!
As of right now, I need to request a laptop cart weeks in advance, which leads to less organic technology integration in the classroom! Having daily access to technology will greatly impact my students' success by allowing them more control over when they utilize technology.
