This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in NJ. Most of my students don't have technology at home so I am here to try and help my students find ways to complete online assignments. My students have the willpower to become successful adults after high school and I want to give them to the tools to do so. My school is a magnet school for high educated students who want to go to college and do great things. With these tools I believe they will.

My Project

My students need the iPad Pro with a keyboard for learning how to use technology to move them forward in their educational lives. Once they get out of high school and into college they will need to know how to use things such as iCloud, Google docs, and all other applications that are on the platform. I will mentor my students through the process of using all of these applications after high school when they are independent in their college/adult lives.

A fun activity students will be doing on the iPad in tech club is creating school songs and music videos for school meetings and prep rallies.

The students will learn how to work in collaboration with their classmates to create and mix video and music together to create unique projects.
