it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students need an iPad and VAPA supplies (colored pencils, markers, glue sticks, pencils, and Blick erasers) to enhance their learning and go beyond the walls of our classroom. To begin with, Internet access and computers are integral tools to not only live but succeed in our fast-paced world. The iPad will be integrated into the curriculum through the use of multiple Internet-based student response systems and presentation tools. Furthermore, students will actively participate in Google Apps including but not limited to Google+, Drive, Gmail, and Classroom. SeeSaw is a digital student portfolio and presentation tool that students will also use. Students will also use the iPad to do STEM activities and code Sphero robots.
With these tools, students will become proficient in computer literacy, incorporate STEM into their learning, and express their knowledge through the visual and performing arts.
Additionally, Team Hodgwarts is in critical need of basic art supplies and technology. These resources will help students to learn how to express themselves through STEM and the visual arts (VAPA); we need them desperately! With your help, my students can become ready to tackle our ever-changing 21st-century world!
