This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creative, driven, and full of potential. They show up every day ready to grow, despite the challenges they face. Many are students with disabilities who thrive when they have access to the right tools—especially when reading and writing.

As our district transitions to a Microsoft-based system, we want to equip our classroom with the tools our students need to succeed in a modern learning environment.

This project will fund two Microsoft Surface Pro devices, each with a keyboard, pen, and Microsoft software suite.

These devices will support students in English Language Arts through station work, digital writing, and personalized learning tools like immersive reader, voice typing, and annotation features. We already have headphones and splitters—we just need the hardware to make this vision a reality.

This technology will serve 57 6th and 7th grade students by helping us provide accessible and inclusive instruction that meets the diverse needs of our classroom. Your donation helps level the playing field so that all students can thrive.
