My Project
As a teacher, I have seen great things with my students using materials obtained through the DonorsChoose program. I am partnering with another teacher to help build our program for students who are over 18 years old and high school aged.
Our goal is to give them experience to enter the workforce with confidence and experience. These materials are going to help build their independent living skills and their employability.
We are giving them experiences with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and delivery. Skills can help them enter a variety of potential jobs, so that they can be contributing members of their communities.
