Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how enthusiastic, resilient, and eager to learn my students are—especially in PE, where they bring energy and teamwork every day. Many of my students are English Language Learners or come from diverse backgrounds, and they work hard to overcome language barriers and support one another.
The scrimmage vests will help all of my students clearly identify teams during games, which is especially important for ELLs who may struggle with verbal instructions or team names.
With these vests, they’ll be able to participate more confidently, focus on the game, and feel fully included. This simple resource will make our PE class more organized, inclusive, and fun for everyone.
