Team Sports Build Confidence!

My students need basketball equipment to learn the rules of how to play the game and to learn how to play competitively.

My Students

Students at my school look forward to going to physical education to exercise and learn skills to play different sports. They enjoy practicing new skills learned and engaging in friendly competition with their classmates.

Team sports build confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship and strength.

When the students leave the school, the new sports skills learned are often not practiced because there are no resources outside of physical education class. A team would greatly increase the students ability to practice a sport and learn valuable life experiences.

My Project

Donations to this project will allow students in my school to build important life skills such as confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Basketball is a team sport that requires a strong coach that is knowledgable and able to teach focus, strategies and teamwork to their players.

In order for students to excel in any sport, coaches need all the necessary equipment for students to learn, practice and compete. Strategic plays need to be visual on a board and worked out throughout the game. Being able to store and transport equipment for practice and competition is key to maintaining the level of expertise for team sports.

Students in my school need the opportunity to explore this sport as a team.
