My Students

Do you remember how certain concepts at school were too boring or not interesting enough? Well my students would be so excited to learn with some fun, interactive technology!

My students are a group of 26 ELL (English language learners) kindergarten children from a school in a suburban Michigan city.

We are five years old, and we love school. Most of the children in my class have not had the privilege of going to preschool, and nearly all of them receive free lunch.

My Project

It is a known fact that children learn through many different modalities. Each child also learns at a different pace. The purpose of this project is to give those children who don't learn the 'traditional' way a new way to learn a concept. They will also help to motivate some of my littlest learners by making concepts fun and engaging on our Promethean board. I am requesting several interactive whiteboard CDs to use to reinforce traditional concepts in our Kindergarten curriculum. The CDs will help to solidify language, math, and science concepts.

By supporting this project for interactive whiteboard CDs, you understand that children learn in different ways and at different rates, especially in kindergarten.

You will help to create a fun, engaging learning environment where my students will be able to use the latest technology to learn basic kindergarten concepts.
