Teaching with Technology

My students need 2 computers with management licenses to enrich our reading, writing and math curriculum, as well as give them the technology skills to succeed in our 21st-century world.

My Students

Everywhere we go, we see technology. It is in our cars, at the grocery store, in our houses, and even in our pockets and purses. It is a huge part of our world today.

My students all come from different places.

Some have technology at home, some don't. Some have stay at home parents, others have parents that work multiple jobs. The one thing we know that is the same for all of them is their love for learning. They come to school each day with big smiles, a thirst for knowledge, and a need to learn.

My Project

My students will use these two computers on a daily basis. The more students are exposed to technology, the better chance they have for success in the real world. They will use them to play math games catered to what they need. They will read just right books on them, research for writing, and play a variety of learning games.

This project will make a huge difference in my classroom.

It will give the students an opportunity to gain confidence with technology. They will get the necessary experience with it at a young age, so they can learn the skills they need for adulthood. They are learning safe Internet practices. They are doing all this while perfecting their reading skills, practicing their math skills, and mastering the art of the written word.
