This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Students in my school come from low income families and many different cultural backgrounds, but when we come together they all have one goal- to read! My students love to read and write exciting stories.
My students are curious, eager learners who love to work with hands-on materials!
Today’s readers are tomorrow’s leaders!
I know having the materials we need in class to practice phonics and work in reading stations will help my students have great success this year!
My Project
Technology is essential in everyday life today. I want to help prepare my students for the future! What could be more fun than to practice reading, phonics, and math using Fire tablets in learning centers?
My students will have the opportunity to use many apps during station time to practice their skills both independently and in groups.
Using the Fire tablets will be fun and educational at the same time. The class will be able to practice the skills they need while using Fire tablets that they think are fun equals learning fun!
I know having Fire tablets in my class will be an extraordinary addition to daily learning.
