This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach 45 enthusiastic students this school year. They are an inquisitive group of 8 and 9-year-olds with varied interests, from technology to animals, they are always eager to learn new things. Our school is the heart of their neighborhood. Some of my students come from challenging home environments.
When they come to school, I want them to have the freedom to be kids and learn new things that will benefit their future.
From their experience at an early age, many of the students have learned how to be responsible problem solvers. They deserve to have an excellent education in the best environment possible.
My Project
Our return into the classroom will be virtual! I'd never imagine beginning school this way. My district will begin teaching virtually and I want to be prepared to deliver quality instructions regardless of the location.
These resources will be a great help with this uncharted transition.
The monitor will help me smoothly switch screens during video conferences, no more fumbling with tabs of windows on one screen!
Having a mobile dry-erase board will be a great addition to my classroom while teaching my students virtual. This will allow flexibility in front of the camera.
