I have an amazing class of seventeen active and ambitious first graders who come from very diverse backgrounds. My students are always eager to learn and love coming to school. I feel we have had a tight bond and we are like family! We are always learning to be kind and compassionate learners! We work hard and get a lot of things accomplished during our day! They are very active so it helps to include lots of movement throughout the day!
My Project
Technology has become a huge part of our children's lives whether we like it or not. It is the direction the world is turning towards and I want to give my students the best chance of success. They will be competing for jobs in the future and I want to do my part to make sure they are fully educated in all aspects of education. The chromebooks I will be using will allow my students to learn through technology. They will be able to learn typing skills and learn through fun educational sites! It will also allow me to teach the importance of internet safety to my students.
