This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

21st Century Learning... without computers is pretty much impossible.

I teach 22 amazing 4th graders.

Growing up in an urban district, they overcome obstacles on a daily basis, however continue to strive for success. Although they are consistently under performing, they continue to be dedicated to their learning. They put forth their best effort everyday.

My Project

Laptops would provide endless opportunities for my students. They would use them everyday, in every subject. From inquiry based research assignments, blogging, reteaching videos, games that provide additional practice of skills and even assessments online. Students need laptops to learn the skills required for their future. In addition, with laptops they will be able to publish and display work in many ways from PowerPoint's, movies, picture books, creating articles and comic strips.

This project would positively impact my students for many years to come.

Technology skills are essential for their futures. Laptops would increase their ability to learn in many ways. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
