Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The high school that my football players attend is considered one of the most culturally diverse schools on the north side of Chicago. Many of my football players come from low income families and each student has a story to tell. They bring character and pride to the field everyday.

Through our sports program, our players will grow as individuals and as members of a team.

As we begin to build our football program, our players will begin to develop and learn dedication, a positive work ethic, collaboration, sportsmanship, and self worth. These values will benefit each player both on and off of the field. It will help drive their desire to become positive influential members of our community. Research indicates that a students participation in sports can have a positive effect on school performance and adolescent development. These positive effects will foster life long success for my players all the while promoting physical development, strength, and endurance.

With many recent budget cuts, it is getting harder to equip all of our players with the necessities needed for a successful season. We must seek out support to offset our football program costs. Thank you for any support you can offer.

My Project

They will use these items to help them become more successful student athletes. They will learn proper tackling and blocking techniques as well as agility and footwork with this equipment.

Your donations will continue to support the development of good young men by teaching teamwork, a good work ethic, sacrifice, discipline, service, and selflessness.

It will allow the kids to use nice, new equipment in practice. Often times we have visited other schools in surrounding districts and our student athletes are in awe of their resources and it will give them a few things to be proud of. It will also boost their self-esteem and self worth. One day, they will remember this random act of kindness and they will give back to students and athletes as well. Thank you in advance for your donations and generosity. Your investment in our young men is greatly appreciated.
