Teaching Texas Times

Help me give my students books to supplement Texas History. Students focus on important people, the Alamo, and vital landmarks to the state of Texas.

My Project

In 4th grade in the state of Texas, students learn about historical figures that made a huge impact on the establishment. They also learn about causes and effects of major events that occurred.

These resources will give students the highway to authentic literature, while connecting their minds to important historical events and figures.

The 180 days of Social Studies will be amazing warm ups and station work.

Novel studies are the best way to incorporate all subject areas into our packed schedules. These will be used for vocabulary games, writing activities, brain breaks, and read alouds.
