My virtual classroom is a filled with amazing students that are fun, loving, energetic five and six year olds. My Kindergarteners face a variety of challenges at home and at school that I would like to be able to support through this project.
All of my students are wonderful little learners who have varied educational needs.
My students come from diverse backgrounds and we work everyday to support each individual student in their journey. We support students with varying abilities and exceptionalities. We adapt the curriculum to meet the diverse needs of the students and to increase their opportunities to maintain, generalize, and transfer both academic and social skills to other environments. They need materials and activities they can engage with to help them stay actively learning.
My Project
Students need digital interactive opportunities throughout distance learning to connect with their peers and teachers and to successfully participate in classroom activities. It is my goal to find materials and activities to help motivate and engage my students to participate in distance learning activities. Digital interactive opportunities help and support student independence throughout the school day to increase their academic achievement and social engagement as we navigate the new normal of distance learning.

The digital interactive activities from Teachers Pay Teachers are created specifically for students and teachers. The digital interactive activities can be used on a computer, smart board, tablet or cell phone. The digital interactive activities can be used independently or with support. Digital interactive opportunities are paramount during distance learning for teachers to meet their students at their individual learning levels.
