This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are starting a game club both at lunch and after school at our school in Washington DC, a Title I school. Club will be accessible to all students because of the two times, students who might take the bus at the end of the day are accommodated.

Students will learn compassion by taking turns, teamwork, seeing how their actions affect others and sportsmanship.

These lessons will create a community of people who share in empathy, integrity, and the experience of joy in playing and interacting with others in a positive way
