Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are an ICT class. My students are 2nd graders with many students who either have a learning disability or are ENL students. They all have different learning styles, but are eager to learn and are very enthusiastic. It is amazing to see them glow and grow as learners.
Their little eyes light up and they are so happy when they understand the lesson being presented.
As many were remote learners last year, we need to be motivated to learn and be provided with the right tools to succeed in class and in their lives.
My Project
Each student will learn to be responsible for keeping their desks and chairs COVID free by wiping them down with the Clorox Wipes twice a day, before and after breakfast and snack time.
Since our students are thrilled to be back in school, it's extremely motivating to have them take responsibility for not only their academia but contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy classroom environment.
