This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are coming to the midway point of first grade, and usually around this time, kids can get antsy and too comfortable with each other. Kindness is our number one rule in this classroom and sometimes the kids need reminders on how we can spread kindness.

The project I am asking for help with, is to help build a kindness corner in my classroom that will include a place to reflect, animal buddies, and kindness books/ cards to learn new strategies.

We need more kindness in this world and it starts in first grade!
