Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Promethean allows me to connect to it from an iPad device to share my screen and navigate through my lesson and agenda without being stuck at the front of the room. I need a reliable device to help me post class notes and move about the classroom, assisting students. With the tablet, I can connect with my students in real time instead of being stuck near my desk. In turn, the students can access the interactive agenda and notes anytime. Since we are moving to an all-digital learning management system, the students will be able to receive annotations and voice notes on work submitted digitally. This feedforward/feedback loop is a research-evidence strategy to grow learner success.
Donating to this project equips this teacher with the digital tools necessary to support learners and differentiate instruction.
I teach ESE and ELL students at varying degrees of language acquisition. This resource will allow me to learn more about creating practical learning spaces. I want to understand better how to meet the whole child's needs.
My students will benefit from my being able to circulate the classroom during the lesson, allowing them differentiated instruction.
