I have an amazing class of seventeen active and ambitious first graders who come from very diverse backgrounds. My students are always eager to learn and love coming to school. I feel we have had a tight bond and we are like family! We are always learning to be kind and compassionate learners! We work hard and get a lot of things accomplished during our day! They are very active so it helps to include lots of movement throughout the day!
My Project
We have black and white printers in our classroom, but I make a lot of centers and it takes a lot of time coloring the papers. I feel that it will help me save me some time, and then I can make these centers fun and colorful that can last many years. I feel that my younger students are drawn to things that are bright and colorful and I feel that they would enjoy my centers more when they are fun and colorful! We would really love a color printer to brighten our daily work! Color makes the days brighter! A color printer would add so many fun colorful posters and centers in our classroom!
