Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach at a Title I school where funding is low and resources are scarce. My students are a very diverse group of students with varying backgrounds. They also have a wide range of abilities that require constant differentiation of instruction to reach them all. I work alongside some awesome English Language teachers and Exceptional Children's teachers in order for us all to come together and have the greatest impact on my students. It truly takes a village to teach and reach students.
Children need a diverse They crave authentic instruction and authentic learning.
As their teacher, I am obligated and committed to providing them with as many opportunities as I can, to learn via games, exploration and imagination.
My Project
Our school is starting back to class as a hybrid model. This means some students will be in the classroom and some will continue to be online. I will be responsible for teaching both in-class and online at the same time. In order to tackle this new way of teaching, technology needs to be up-to-date and work properly.
I need to be able to see and hear my online students while simultaneously teaching a classroom of students.
One of the biggest hurdles to online instruction is the inability to see and hear each other and tech issues. I want my students to be able to interact as though they were all in a classroom together.
