Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
What I love most about my students is their natural curiosity, resilience, and unique perspectives. They come to class each day with open minds and a willingness to grow, even when faced with challenges. Many of them are eager to explore the world beyond their immediate surroundings, and it's my goal to provide them with the tools and opportunities to do just that.
Each resource I’m requesting is chosen with their individual and collective needs in mind:
Hands-on materials will bring abstract concepts to life, especially for my kinesthetic learners who thrive when they can touch, build, and experiment.
Books and literacy tools will open doors to new worlds and voices, improving not just their reading skills but also their empathy and critical thinking.
Technology resources will help bridge gaps in access, allowing all students to engage in digital learning, research, and creativity—skills they’ll need for their futures.
Flexible seating or organizational supplies will create a more inclusive and student-centered classroom environment where everyone feels comfortable, focused, and ready to learn.
These resources will help make learning more engaging, equitable, and effective. Most importantly, they’ll show my students that their education matters and that there are people who believe in their potential. That kind of support can make all the difference.
