This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My classroom is a place where my students feel loved and welcomed. It has been so inspiring and humbling to know that as teachers we are molders and shapers of future leaders. Each year I wait with bated breath to meet the wonderful students that I will have the honor of working with. These unique individuals are all equipped to reach greatness if instructions are given in a way that will meet their needs.
If our students have teachers who will adapt lessons to meet their needs, then every child will grow and learn: learn to be tolerant, and kind, learn to be respectful and courteous, learn to become movers and shakers and learn how to be lifelong learners.
All my students have different levels of motivation and determination but every child is capable of learning.
My Project
With the uncertainties surrounding back to school this fall and just general anxieties in our communities, we can keep the quality of education constant for students. As a teacher, I think it is my job to help students have the best educational opportunities while attending to their needs.
The gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to get social emotional materials and distance learning materials for my students to access.
These materials are aligned to the standards and will support students’ learning this year and for years to come.
