Teaching Financial Literacy Using a Classroom Economy

My Project
With this project, we will be able to set up a classroom economy system in which my leaders can earn "Leader Loot" by completing classroom job duties, displaying the 7 Habits, following SOPs, demonstrating growth on different assessments and other various methods.
This project will allow my leaders the opportunity to learn about financial literacy through a classroom economy, as well as increase classroom participation, classwork completion and encourage appropriate behaviors.
Students will have the opportunity to trade in their "Leader Loot" for the candy, stickers, cards, charms, stress balls, toys and fidgets . By focusing on the positive behaviors rather than negative it will encourage students to self monitor and motivate them to be active in their classroom.
