it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Many of my inner city high school students come from pretty tough home situations. In Physical Education a big part of the curriculum I developed/follow focuses on social and personal responsibility. Cooperative games are a big part developing strong positive character skills.
My students are great high school level kids.
I have been teaching here at my school for 7 years now and we are so proud of the progress we have made both academically and in improving our schools culture. Many of the students have trying and tough home situations and so the school becomes a safe place for them. Any donation I have received in the past is always well appreciated by my students.
My Project
If the Omnikin balls are donated they will be put to great use. I can use these balls for cooperative games units where my students will learn to work together, compete in groups, and generally have a great Phys. Ed experience. Often when I teach cooperative games the students immediately ask for more of them. The Omnikin balls offer great cooperative experiences for students in all grade levels at our school.
Your donation will go directly into the hands of my students and will ultimately make a difference in the development of their individual and group character.
