My Students

My Head Start students love learning new things and are always excited for a new day at school. I am always looking for new, creative ways and materials to keep them engaged in their learning.

My 4- and 5-year-old Head Start students attend a Title I school, with limited funds for resources and supplies.

My Project

My students need more books for our classroom library that represent them. My students represent many different cultures and diverse backgrounds. They love learning about other people who are like them and as well as others who may be different from them.

This project will provide my students with stories on racial justice and representation for my young readers.

My students also need math learning games for center time. They will be able to independently practice counting, sorting, and identifying numbers. My students love learning and working together each and every day.
