This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Ending the year last year, and now beginning the new school year in distance learning, my students are hungry for interaction and learning. My students come from a range of diverse backgrounds as well as a wide range of needs. They are fun-loving, creative, intelligent kids and I want to help them rise to their full potential, even through the online interface. I teach in a Title I school and I want to help them have the tools they need to succeed.
My Project
This year is tough for teachers. We are teaching in pandemic conditions. At any given time, I have 1/3 of my class missing on quarantine. We are persevering, but teaching in these conditions takes a lot out of us. To ease my burden, I am asking for Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards. These gift cards will help me purchase items that will help me teach the content and standards required of me. It will also help me include fun, creative, and interactive lessons into our days. There are countless products that will support my students.
