This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have very special, needy students in my integrated co-teaching class. We are a Title I funded school. The disabilities affecting my students range from speech and language to autism. They just don't have the resources available that they need.

I have a wonderful class.

They are learning to work together, be more creative, be more independent, and have a more positive outlook on life. My amazing students come into school every day with an eagerness to learn something new.

My students are curious, funny, charming, and hard-working. They motivate me to be a better teacher, and I always want to make sure they have everything they need to make learning fun.

My Project

I would like two gift cards, so that I am able to support my students with both ELA and Math resources.

Teachers Pay Teachers is a goldmine of resources for all educators, especially with the current challenges we face teaching virtually.

By purchasing premade resources that I can adapt to fit the needs of my students, I will have more time to devote to teaching content and reaching the many levels in my class. I will be able to provide thoughtful feedback on assignments, conference with students, and promote growth without the stress of having to create every assignment. Some examples of resources I would like to purchase are Reader's and Writer's notebooks aligned to my upcoming units and Problem of the Day resources for spiral review in math, just to name a few. I would also like to purchase resources to provide support to my struggling students through read alouds and shared writing.

These resources will help my students grow during this new way of learning.
