My Students

I teach an energetic group of 8th graders who love to learn. We are at a charter school where all students are known and cared for. We live in a diverse neighborhood and our school reflects that, as we have a high population of English Language Learners.

It is my goal for all of my students to succeed no matter what struggles they go through.

I am constantly looking for ways for my students to interact with technology in new ways.

My Project

I have taught 8th grade math before but it has been a few years. When I want to grab a worksheet or review project to help my students, I either create it or find it online. One of the best places online to get worksheets is Teachers Pay Teachers.

A Teachers Pay Teachers gift card would allow me to purchase different math resources that are created by other teachers.

The other supplies will help me to do math on the white-board in a way that will relate more to what the students are doing on their papers.
