"Amazing Things Happen Here!" That's the motto that my students follow daily! We respect our differences while working together to celebrate success. My 11 scholars may have moderate to severe learning disabilities that effect the way they learn and interact, but that doesn't stop them from being active, engaged learners.
My students enjoy learning in a variety of interactive and innovative ways.
Any activity that includes hands-on manipulatives or access to technology is always a highlight of the day! Whether we're working on IEP goals or accessing grade-level content, my students perform best when the material is presented in a visual-rich format.
My Project
Teachers Pay Teachers introduces educators to a vast library of available teacher-made curriculum and activities that are easily implemented and adapted to meet the needs of all students. Activities available on TPT often contain strong visuals, leveled versions of the same task, and cross-curricular connections. It is for these reasons that activities found on TPT are a perfect resource for my group of diverse students!
