My Project

I teach students from kindergarten through 5th grade. They are kind, special, and eager to learn. Coming from different ages, backgrounds, and cultures, they are also unique, each bringing a diverse set of needs, skills, and abilities to the classroom. This is my first year teaching English Language Development (ELD), formerly known as ESOL, and I am tasked with meeting the diverse needs of each of my scholars through differentiated instruction, direct vocabulary instruction, and other key ELD strategies. Because there is no set curriculum for ELD classes, I am responsible for creating lessons that utilize these strategies from scratch.

Preparing engaging lessons that effectively serve my scholars is absolutely rewarding, yet extremely tedious, so having access to prepared lessons that I can adapt to meet the needs of my students will be beneficial for us all.

My students deserve to be welcomed to school every day with a prepared and excited teacher, not one who is mentally and physically exhausted. Please help me to work smarter and not harder! I would like to use these Teacher's Pay Teachers gift cards to purchase fun and engaging lessons that I can tailor to their needs and that will facilitate their language development.
