My Students

My students are amazing, sixth graders who are excited about school and learning. I teach fifty students ELA and Social Studies and they enjoy learning and participating in school. My school is located in Opelousas, Louisiana in south Louisiana and many of my students are at-risk. The parents and guardians of my students are highly supportive and want the best education for their child. Having such supportive parents has made teaching a partnership with them and made teaching the students more meaningful.

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is the most amazing resource for material for teachers. I have spent over $300 of my own money on this site to obtain curriculum based material for my students.

We do not have social studies books so all of my social studies material comes from Teachers Pay Teachers.

It is truly an amazing site, full of creative lessons and fun activities related to teaching and learning.

This gift would help me obtain top quality and engaging lessons for my students. The lessons would be used year after year!
