The way we teach has shifted over the past few years. I find that engaging students in hands-on activities and learning with just the right mix of technology is extremely important. As we continuously shift our teaching and assignments, it is necessary to have these resources. Creating or modifying existing lessons and assignments can be incredibly time-consuming and takes away from more thoughtful planning and meeting time with students. Some of the items I would like to purchase are activities/lessons to coincide with our social justice program, social studies, and science curriculum. I also love to teach through themes like transforming our room into a pizzeria to teach fractions, Super Bowl theme to teach measurement, themed reading passages, etc. Teachers Pay Teachers is a wonderful wealth of resources to help bring these themes to life in my classroom without having to create all the lessons on my own.
