My Students

My school is in Bossier City, Louisiana that serves grades K-5. Our students are a diverse group with many ethnicities and religions. Our staff fondly refers to them as the "melting pot." They are a wonderful group of excited, enthusiastic, and motivated learners.

Our students come from a variety of settings, such as single-parent families, families of immigrants, Air Force families, struggling families, and traditional 2-parent families.

Students from every walk of life will come to my 5th-grade classroom to learn and make new discoveries!

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is a great tool to find a variety of resources to teach students. Best of all, it is written by teachers for teachers - experts in their field! I am requesting a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to help purchase 5th-grade math and science resources and activities for my students. A TPT gift card will really help during planning lessons for 2 different groups of students - those learning in-person and those at home. It will also benefit my students as it will give me access to thousands of resources that I could use with small groups or the whole class. The materials on Teachers Pay Teachers are very creative and highly appealing to maximize my students' engagement.
