My Students
This year I have 53 fabulous fifth graders that I am teaching virtually. Building connections with my students is one of my favorite parts about teaching and I was worried I wouldn't be able to do that in the virtual setting. But so far, I have built some really amazing relationships with my new students and I could not be happier!
My class this year is filled with dancers, artists, gamers, mathematicians, scientists, writers, and readers.
We have a wide variety of student interests in our class year but I absolutely love that because we are all able to learn from one another and connect with those who have similar interests.
My Project
I teach students from all over the state who are working from home. This has been an adjustment so far, but I am absolutely loving it! I have always loved Teachers Pay Teachers because who can provide the best resources for teachers? Teachers themselves! That is exactly what Teachers Pay Teachers is all about and in turn, you will be supporting not only me, but also the teachers whose resources I buy to support my students.
I have used Teachers Pay Teachers in the past to buy things like science warm-up reviews, article of the week, and the tower of books challenge which keeps kids motivated and reading at home.
I would like to use this gift card to buy digital resources to teach my students with. I can't meet them in person and have very little time with them online, so it is important that I have the best resources to reach them with the time we do have and Teachers Pay Teachers will definitely help with that.
Working from home and sitting all day is not good for anyone's health. I am requesting the adjustable laptop stand and the apple magic mouse as ergonomical solutions to this problem.
