Teacher With a Disability Teaches Students With Disabilities!

Help me give my students these items so they can learn and have items to stimulate their disabilities and stress/anxiety in school due to their learning needs. They need tracing books so they can learn their alphabet/numbers.

My Students

My students have special needs and could really benefit if they had access to items to help stimulate their attention, such as sensory items like fidgets. Also, due to their disability they require tracing activities and hands on activities so they can learn. For example, if they had tracing activities they can learn basic skills.

A little over four years ago, I was in a serious accident where I almost lost my life, but I lived.

Now, I have to live with a traumatic brain injury. Because of this, I was unable to teach for two years. Now that I am finally back in the classroom, I need some help because I came back to a new environment where my students have many special needs and many disabilities. They are so loving and so caring and try so hard to accomplish the lessons I try to teach them.

My students come from low-income socioeconomic backgrounds where they struggle to bring simple things like paper and pencil to school. If my project gets funded I can provide them with the things they need so they can learn too.

My Project

My project is for my students who have significant needs and disabilities! These items can assist them in learning and staying focused in school. They can help them learn how to write their alphabet and numbers and the fidgets can help them when they are overwhelmed or having anxiety. They have so much potential but need to start from the bottom so they can move up to their grade level. Your help would be much appreciated so my students can thrive in school and come to school to learn to the best of their ability.
