Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My 4th graders love to read fiction and comic books. They also love to create stories or comic strips and watch read aloud videos.

My students really enjoy learning and thrive on the successes they experience.

The students in my class are so diverse. They come mainly from Central America, many are low-income families and second language learners.

My Project

I am in need of a good backpack to transport all my school supplies. I have been using a very old one but it is not working anymore and I need a good support since I am always carrying a lot of materials.

This backpack will be filled with documents, ideas, feelings and knowledge to help my students grow as individuals.

Students will benefit from it in a non direct way. But I am sure the benefits this items will have on me, will also have a big impact on my teaching.

I will be forever grateful to get a comfortable backpack to carry all the materials needed.

I already know that this will be a great addition to my teaching, since it is going to help me take care of all my students documents.
