My Students

I am so proud of how all my students and families have quickly changed and found ways to succeed in this new style of school. There have been many changes around the world, but it is much easier for adults to adjust than it is for six year olds, so I am doing my best to meet their academic and emotional needs. I am working hard daily, communicating with parents and students, providing them with one on one tutoring, whole class zooms, individualized learning and much more. I have sent home learning packets as well as learning goodie bags, including things like whiteboards, crayons and much more. All my students have also been given Chromebooks which is our main source of learning.

The goal of posting projects during distant learning is to ensure that students are receiving the same quality of education as they would have in the classroom with me.

I am focusing on the standards but also the students and parents mental health. One thing I continue to explain to my students is that we build our character by how we deal with the hard times, and as a team I can say my Room Rockstar Rams!

My Project

Teachers Pay Teachers is the perfect resource for students and teachers right now. Donating to my project will allow me to purchase more resources students need to continue to grow and learn outside of the classroom. I plan to use the gift card to purchase more pen and paper work for students. A lot of the feedback I am getting from parents is that while virtual meetings help, the younger students need worksheets to better help them process the standards.

Teacher Pay Teachers is especially helpful because it allows me to purchase materials for students at different levels and being equitable is extremely important right now!

Please help my students finish the year off on a high note and help them meet their needs from afar.
